So I finally got my Wacom Intuos3 a few weeks ago and it pretty much kicks ass. I spent hours playing with it that weekend, and still would be if not for all these hideous class projects and lab work. I decided to break it in by using it for the design of my first professional commission: CD cover and disc art for the upcoming album from the band One Punch Knockout. Progress is slow due to my current workload from classes but I'm squeezing time in here and there. I hope to have it completed sometime next month and will update then.
From now on I'm going to start making my fractals a bit 'brighter', as I was unaware that I was using increased gamma settings on my laptop until I viewed one of my fractals on a CRT. Currently I'm not quite sure on their general appearance and how they look on individual and 'average' computers.
If anyone has helpful input on cleaning up excess 'dust' from higher gamma, or would simply like to offer their opinion as to if something is 'too dark', 'too light', or 'too dusty', pleasssse don't hesitate to do so.
I want my fractals to look as nice as possible; your input can help me with that.
